Sleepers.net, owned by Weatherby Technology Group, LLC, has announced a new service for iPhone developers and Application seekers. Located at this address, the program is based on the reverse bidding system, allowing iPhone application seekers to post iPhone Application development Auctions, and ultimately have an iPhone application developed for them or their business.

Last week, Sleepers posted a message on its website saying, “The very first thing we will be offering the community is a new reverse bidding auction system for iPhone application seekers. All developers that our part of the Sleepers network will be notified when new projects are posted. You will have the ability to sign up for a[n] idev account and bid on the projects. This system should be online by the end of this week/middle of next week. We will notify everyone that is part of the Sleepers network when it is ready to go.”

Now, the same site greets visitors with a new message. “Sleepers.net is pleased to announce a new service for iPhone developers and Application seekers: http://idev.sleepers.net,” Sleepers says. “Idev.sleepers.net is a reverse bidding system that allows iPhone application seekers the ability to post iPhone Application development Auctions on idev.sleepers.net,” the company explains. “We hope everyone enjoys this new service and we are looking forward to any comments that you might have on it,” Sleepers adds.

Sleepers further outlines that subscribed developers are immediately alerted once a project is posted online. Devs then get the opportunity to bid on the posted iPhone Application projects. Those that have already registered with Sleepers will still need to sign up for an account to post bids on projects. To sign up, go here. The same goes for Application Seekers, who can post an iPhone development Auction by signing up here (note that the latter is not for programmers, but for application buyers).

Weatherby Technology, the company behind Sleepers, claims to hold “the secret to a more productive workforce, by maximizing your existing resources and minimizing stress.” The company promises to soon give customers more cost-effective results that are tailored to their company's needs.
