Apple has posted a reminder for iOS developers regarding the visibility of their newly launched applications. The company headquartered at One Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California, is telling programmers to promote their software with App Store-specific artwork, particularly the black-and-white badge acting as a direct link to the online venue, and bearing the message, “Available on the App Store.”

“Promote Your App with ‘Available on the App Store’ Artwork,” Apple reminds registered developers on the iPhone Dev Center. “Make sure your customers know that your iPad, iPhone and iPod touch applications are available on the App Store,” the company’s latest update to the site’s News and Announcements area reads.

“Members of the iPhone Developer Program can take advantage of ‘Available on the App Store’ badges and product images of iPad, iPhone and iPod touch for marketing and advertising. Log in to the App Store Resource Center to download these images, make sure you review the App Marketing and Identity Guidelines for Developers to ensure you use all artwork correctly,” the Mac maker’s advice goes.

On June 9, Apple gave developers the green light for iOS 4 application submission, telling code-savvy individuals to log in to iTunes Connect and submit their software so it would be ready for sale when iOS 4 shipped. “Make sure you have built and tested your app using iOS 4 and iPhone SDK 4 GM seed available from the iPhone Dev Center,” Apple said at the time.

Launching pre-installed with the new operating system is iPhone 4, Apple’s latest creation touted as the biggest leap since the original iPhone hit the market. Set to become available on June 24 (later this week), both iOS 4 and the fourth-generation iPhone are to deliver a massive amount of improvements on the software and hardware fronts for Apple fans.
