Vodafone Germany's accessories web site lists new, unconfirmed iPhone models

Listings discovered on Vodafone Germany’s accessories web site indicate that the carrier is expecting shipments of a device called iPhone 4S in 16-to64GB capacities, as well as an iPhone 4 that boasts only 8GB of internal memory.

Advertising the compatible devices for an Elgato TV accessory, Vodafone Germany’s accessories site features a drop-down compatibility button which, once hit, displays a list of various iDevices.

Some of them stand out, as German site iphone-ticker.de points out.

Based on the listings, Vodafone Germany not only expects heavy shipments of six different iPhone 4S variants, the carrier is also waiting to receive (or may be already stocking) Black and White versions of an 8GB iPhone 4.

While this could easily pass as a poor attempt on Vodafone’s behalf to draw some attention onto itself (many others have done it before), the listings do seem to fall in line with most rumors about Apple launching more than one iPhone model this year.

However, the rumors also speak of a much enhanced iPhone 5 which, to be frank, is really all that everyone wants to see from Apple.

An additional iPhone 4S announcement would be all the more exciting, but just an iPhone 4S would be quite disappointing for everyone tracking Apple in the news, buying Apple products, and / or trading Apple stock.

But regardless of Apple’s plans for launching a radically improved handset, there is now sufficient evidence to deduce that there’s one device on Apple’s roadmap that looks almost exactly like the iPhone 4 but will be introduced as a new product.

Hopefully this will be the equivalent of Apple’s 8GB iPhone 3GS (that has sold in tandem with newer iPhone 4), not just Apple’s single new handset to released this year.
