Although customers could purchase the iPhone 4 and activate it on Koodo's network, the regional carrier is one of the few who are still not offering the device.

Apparently, this is about to change as Koodo employees have started training on the iPhone 4, which might hit shelves in the coming weeks.

According to the guys over at MobileSyrup, citing a few trusting sources, the iPhone 4 will be announced within the next “two and a half months.”

Although rumors about the phone's price have already emerged, it is still too early to presume the exact numbers.

However, as more of these prices are confirmed, we will update the information with the carrier's price options.

In this regard, it will be interesting to see whether Koodo's Tab option will be able to compete with Fido and Virgin's prices of the iPhone 4.

Koodo may need to considerably increase the value of the Tab for the iPhone 4 otherwise it will cost about $500 with the currently maximum $150 Tab option.

It is unclear whether Koodo will carry both 16GB and 32GB variants of the iPhone 4 or it will also offer the white version of the smartphone.

Still, the carrier has a history when it comes to offering different color options for some of the most popular smartphones available in the market.

Koodo Mobile announced last month that it has picked the white version of BlackBerry Curve 3G, which adds to the black variant that was launched in March 2011.

Even though Koodo Mobile is a small, regional carrier, it has improved its offering considerably in the last months with popular smartphones, including the Nexus S Pure, LG Optimus One, INQ Chat 3G and BlackBerry Curve 3G.

Stay tuned for more information updates regarding the upcoming launch of the iPhone 4 via Koodo Mobile.
