New TV ads aimed at promoting Apple's new iPhone 3G have emerged. Dubbed Everyone, Unslow and Work Friendly, the ads emphasize the new iPhone's improved networking abilities, compared with the original device. Sources are also informing that AT&T posted $30.9 billion in revenue, up 4.7% year-over-year, thanks, in part, to the iPhone 3G which has been confirmed as selling twice as fast as iPhone 1.0.

With the three new iPhone 3G ads released, you now have a total of four ads to enjoy and, why not, even let yourself be sold on the device. While the first iPhone 3G commercial has nothing in common with the just-aired iPhone ads, all three commercials released by Apple recently are pretty much identical, were it not for the different features that iPhone 3G boasts.

As you can imagine, the "Everyone" ad talks about how iPhone 3G lets you surf the web, download stuff and find your way (GPS) twice as fast. Apple also confidently states that "pretty much everyone will like paying half the price." Not so when your carrier charges your whole salary for unlimited data.

"Unslow" also talks about 3G, the internet twice as fast, get the news twice as fast and find your way twice as fast, oh, and let's not forget the downloads - those are twice as fast, too.

"Work Friendly" says iPhone 3G instantly updates your work calendar, pushes your work email and automatically keeps up with your work contacts. That's "push" technology for you, thanks to Microsoft's ActiveSync. Apple, however, has had quite some complaints with the service. Hopefully, it'll able to iron out the bugs soon.

As for the reports saying iPhone 3G is selling like water in the desert, AlleyInsider has some figures on AT&T's Q2 financial results. According to the announcements of the largest carrier in the US, it posted $30.9 billion in revenue, up 4.7% year-over-year. Later, AT&T also noted in a report that, despite ongoing iPhone shortages, the 3G model has sold two times faster than its 2G sibling.

"The Apple iPhone 3G is a dramatic example of this transformation," goes a statement coming from AT&T, according to MacRumors. "In the days following our exclusive U.S. launch of this new device, powered by the nation's fastest 3G wireless network, customer response has been everything we had anticipated and more. This strengthens our wireless business, and it reinforces our positive view of the opportunities ahead for AT&T and the industry."

Apple promised it would make the iPhone 3G available in 20 additional countries on August 22. A tool for fans to check the availability of the device in their respective territories has also been set up.
