Tutor for iPad: Getting Started has been released in the iTunes App Store. The app is comprised of a collection of video tutorials on getting started with the iPad. These include locking the orientation, multitask, grouping apps into folders, searching the device, and working with default apps like Contacts, Mail, and Calendar.

Tutor for iPad: Getting Started has 36 how-to videos that cover “everything from using the virtual keyboard, to multitasking, to creating folders, to creating a picture frame with your iPad, to troubleshooting your iPad,” says Noteboom Productions, the developer.

The studio has developed a multitude of Tutor iOS apps for getting acquainted with iPhoto, iMovie, iWork apps for both Mac OS X and iPad, and more.

According to the company, Tutor for iPad has everything you need to start working with your iPad.

Using it, you can find out how to: lock the orientation; multitask; group your apps into folders; search your iPad; work with the default apps including Contacts, Mail, and Calendar; change your settings; use Airplane mode; work with notifications; change the background; use the picture frame option; sync and backup; use copy and paste; use the iPad User Guide; troubleshoot your iPad; reset your iPad.

Noteboom Productions claims to have over five years of experience with online video tutorials.

All of the videos included with Tutor for iPad have been recorded and optimized for the tablet’s screen at 1024x768, which means they can be viewed crystal clear at full screen.

Also, all videos are stored the iPad; therefore, the user doesn’t need to stream them over the Internet. In fact, an internet connection is not even required to use the app.

It is interesting, to say the least, that Noteboom Productions has decided to throw in Tutor for iPad just as Apple is expected to introduce the second-generation of tablets.

For those who are having trouble using some functions on their iPad, Tutor for iPad can be downloaded from the link below. The app requires iOS 4.2 or later and costs 4 bucks to own.
