We've already seen plenty of iPad docks make their way onto the market (and we're sure to see a whole lot more at CES 2011 and Macworld 2011), but none of them delivered the sheer coolness factor provided by the particular device you'll read about as follows, that brings the steampunk current to iPad docking. Called the “iPad - iPhone - iPod - Dock - Sync and Charging Station- Oak - Wing Arm Style- Adjustable” (yeah, we know that it's a pretty quirky name), the device in question is hand-made and available at one of the best-known Internet outlets for such items, namely Etsy.

The dock features full brass adjustable arms that can be swung up and down and even rotated, which helps them a wide variety of product from Apple, while in the same time, this rather unusual design grants it that “steampunk” look we've mentioned earlier.

The dock is also available in different woods and finishes, cherry, hard maple, oak, hand painted marble and rusty metal, so that the user will be able to easily select the one that best suits his/her own style.

Quite obviously, the dock comes equipped with an Apple interface (with USB connector), that allows users to easily sync their iPad, iPhone or iPod to a computer, while in the same time charging its batteries.

Sadly, no speakers are involved in this case, but we're pretty sure that such an extra might be introduced as well in other hand-made iPad docks that might make their way onto the market in the near future.

The device, presented on Etsy by an user calling himself woodguy32 from Cincinnati, USA, sells for around 130 US dollars, which is in fact a rather OK price point for this solution, especially if you happen to be a true fan of all things steampunk.
