14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has launched iOS 4.3.1, an incremental update tasked with fixing a bunch of issues experienced by iPhone and iPod touch users after upgrading to the iOS 4.3 software update on March 10.
According to a support document posted minutes ago by the Cupertino, California-based tech giant, iOS 4.3.1 contains improvements and other bug fixes. These include:
• Fixes an occasional graphics glitch on iPod touch (4th generation) • Resolves bugs related to activating and connecting to some cellular networks • Fixes image flicker when using Apple Digital AV Adapter with some TVs • Resolves an issue authenticating with some enterprise web services
Devices targeted by the iOS 4.3.1 release are iPhone 4 (GSM model), iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation), and iPod touch (3rd generation), Apple said.
Despite rumors that an iOS 4.3.1 release would also target CDMA iPhone 4 users, it seems this is not the case with Apple's latest iOS release.
Apple also notes that the update contains security patches originally included in previous firmware updates. These are detailed in a knowledge base article talking about the security content of iOS 4.3.
The Mac maker posts the following system requirements for iOS 4.3.1:

iOS 4.3.1 is available via iTunes, by connecting your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad to a Mac or PC running the latest version of the application (iTunes 10.2.1)
