Not so long ago, it was revealed Chinese manufacturer iFive was gearing up to unleash its latest 7-inch tablet on the market, the iFive 100.

The tablet will come in a variety of joyful colors, but most importantly it will ship for only a meager $50 / €37. Previous rumors indicated the tablet would be priced with $164 / €121, but apparently the company aims to reach every possible consumer out there.

Let’s see what you’ll be getting for this ridiculous amount of money. The 7-incher has a 1024 x 600 display and draws power form a dual-core Rockchip RK3026 dual-core processor combined with a mediocre 512MB of RAM, which won't get you too far.

The iFive 100 will also have a front-facing camera, microSD card, Wi-Fi and run Android 4.2 OS out of the box. Who knows, maybe in the future a 3G version with a more capable 1GB of RAM will be made available. But at this price you can’t go expecting a lot.
