Indian company iBerry seems to have become popular lately thanks to both its affordable and high-end Android smartphones, which are exclusively available for purchase in India via Ebay.

The latest iBerry Android devices officially introduced in India are the Auxus Linea L1 and Auxus AX04. Both handsets will go on sale on June 25 via Ebay India for Rs 6,990 ($115 / €85) and Rs 5,990 ($100 / €75), respectively.

“Further to the tremendous response and success of the exclusive launch of Auxus Nuclea X on eBay India recently, we are delighted to again exclusively launch the new series of our Auxus smartphone and tablet on eBay India.

Both the products are targeted to the budget conscious Indian consumers and we are confident that this series will be well received,” said Feroz Ahmed, COO and co-founder of iBerry India.

The cheaper of the two Android devices, the iBerry Auxus AX04 is in fact a huge phablet that offers dual-SIM capability (GSM / GSM) with dual standby support, fonearena reports.

The phablet boasts a large 7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16:9 aspect ratio. Although there's no mention of the resolution, there's a high chance that the Auxus AX04 features a display that supports a disappointing 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

However, given the handset's low price, it's understandable that iBerry had to cut out from the specs to offer an affordable smartphone with decent enough features.

The good news is that iBerry Auxus AX04 will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box, which is unusual for a budget-friendly smartphone going on sale in India.

On the inside, the phablet is equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, which is complemented by a Mali 400 graphics processing unit and only 512MB of RAM.

The phablet packs only 4GB of internal memory, but users will be able to further expand storage up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, iBerry Auxus AX04 features a sub-par 2-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash and video recording, while in the front, there's a secondary VGA camera.

While the Auxus AX04 lacks 3G support, it still offers a wide range of connectivity options, including 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS with A-GPS support.

The phablet is powered by a high-capacity 3000 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer. It's also worth noting that iBerry Auxus AX04 comes with 3.5mm audio jack, but there's no mention of FM Radio function.
