Want a cheap Windows tablet and you happen to live in India? The good news is that popular Indian OEM iBall has just launched the cheapest Windows slate on the market this week.

It’s called the Slide i701 and will cost you only $78 / €70. Naturally, you shouldn’t be expecting to get something mind-blowing for this amount of money.

So let’s see what 80 bucks will get you in terms of tablet goodness. The Slide i701 arrives with a 7-inch IPS display with 720p resolution. It relies on an unnamed Intel quad-core CPU fitted with 1GB of RAM and takes advantage of 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB).

The tablet is outfitted with a 2MP/0.3MP camera combo and also offers HDMI output, USB, OTG functionality, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Keeping the device alive is a 3,200 mAh battery that should provide enough stamina for your device.

On top of being super affordable, the Slide i701 will arrive with another perk. It will feature the autograph of iBall’s brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor on the back.

If you’re a fan of the brand, you’ll probably be happy with this suprise. The signature also distinguishes the slate from other models offered on the market.
