As it was to be expected, the launch of Intel's latest mainstream desktop platform has led to the release of a series of new computer systems that have been specifically designed to incorporate the latest technology and features that have been made available by the Santa Clara, California-based chip maker. Following Dell and other PC vendors, iBUYPOWER, a custom PC vendor, has just announced the introduction of its new Paladin E-Series of Gaming PCs, powered by Intel's latest Core i5 and Core i7 processors. In addition, the company has also debuted a new service that will allow its customers to choose from three levels of overclocking for their new computer systems.

The new Paladin E-Series from iBUYPOWER numbers no less than three new models, boasting different configurations and levels of performance. Kicking off with the Paladin E720 and continuing with the E780 and the E870, users will be able to choose from Intel's Core i5 750, Core i7 860 and Core i7 870 processors, coupled with graphics card options from both AMD and NVIDIA.

Built inside the Thermaltake Element G chassis, the Paladin E780 combines Intel's Core i7 860 with 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB 7200RPM hard drive and AMD's Radeon HD 4890 1GB GPU, all of which are installed on the P7P55D Pro motherboard from ASUS. The system also sports an LG Blu-Ray reader, a feature it shares with the higher-end Paladin E870. The said configuration features a Codemaster HAF 932 chassis, an 800W PSU, the Intel Core i7 870 processor, combined with 8GB of DDR3 memory, 1TB of storage space and NVIDIA's GTX 285 1GB GPU.
