Hyper Scape Season 2 Arrives on October 6, Here Is What's New

Ubisoft announced recently that Hyper Scape is going into season 2 starting next week. The new season is called The Aftermath and will kick off on October 6. Prior to Season 2, players will get the chance to participate in Project Tower, a special event coming to Hyper Scape on October 4 from 11 am to 12 am PST.

As far as Season 2 goes, there's a lot of new content coming to Hyper Scape players, including a new weapon, a new hack, new game modes, a new Battle Pass, and more. All new content will be released on October 6 on all compatible platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The new weapon introduced in Season 2 is called the Atrax and bursts sticky explosives that detonate after a certain period. Ubisoft also revealed that during the season a new limited-time hack will be available mid-season – Platform, which lets players deploy a horizontal platform useful for navigation.

Several new game modes will be available over the course of Season 2, such as Crown Rush Duo and Floor is Lava. Apart from the new modes announced, some older ones will make a comeback, including Crown Rush, Faction War, and Turbo Mode, with more to be revealed later in the season.

Another important change coming in Season 2 is the new ranking system that will be available starting October 6. Ubisoft mentions that the rank will be formed based on the ten best matches of each player – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, or Champion. It's important to add that only matches in Crown Rush Squad will count for the rank.

More importantly, starting with Season 2, players will receive daily gifts for playing Hyper Scape every day. Daily gifts can include different items, such as Battle Points or cosmetics. Also, a new 100-Tier free and premium Battle Pass will be launched, including new exclusive Champion outfits, weapon skins, deployment pods, and more.
