Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has been quite busy lately. The company released the Honor V8 last month, and it's preparing to launch another variant of the handset, called Honor 8. Now, a teaser poster of the upcoming Honor 8 has leaked online, revealing that the device will be released soon.

There have been some rumors about the Honor 8 smartphone saying that the smartphone will be a scaled-down version of the Honor V8. Even so, it could still represent an attractive product in the mid-range segment of the market.

The image featured on Weibo (via GizmoChina) shows that Huawei Honor 8 will come soon, although it doesn't mention a date or at least the month when the company would debut it. The teaser calls the smartphone “beauty out of the ordinary,” but it doesn't actually showcase the device itself.

Huawei Honor 8 could be unveiled on July 5

Initial rumors suggested that Huawei's Honor 8 would be unveiled last week, but that didn't happen, and it appears that the company decided to postpone the launch until an unannounced date. Nevertheless, word is that the smartphone could come to shelves on July 5, which is just a few days from now.

The handset is expected to feature a double-glass design and a metal frame, but nothing is sure at this point. It is said to have thin bezels on the screen, and partial specs of the device have already been leaked.

Huawei Honor 8 could come with a Kirin 955 octa-core chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and multiple internal memory variants, including 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The smartphone will sport a 5.2-inch screen and 1080p resolution. Rear camera capacity will reach 12MP, and it's expected to boast a powerful 3,200mAh battery. It will also feature a fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port.
