One of the four versions of Huawei P9 has just leaked online in a press render that shows it will be available in both white and pink color options. Naturally, additional colors might be released at launch, but for now we’re only offered views on these colors.

Aside from the pictures provided by VentureBeat, we’re also given some details on the phone specs and the confirmation that the images show the “lite” version of Huawei P9. This is the cheapest model that Huawei will launch and it’s rumored to cost just $290, but the price hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Speaking of which, Huawei P9 is expected to be officially unveiled on April 6, which means we’re only two weeks away from the launch.

Only 3GB RAM inside and no dual-camera setup

Unlike the other three Huawei P9 smartphones which come powerful specs inside, the “lite” model sports a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. Also, the smartphone packs only 3GB of RAM, which makes it rather a high-end device than a flagship.

Instead of the top-notch HiSilicon K955 chipset, Huawei P9 Lite will come equipped with a Kirin 950 processor inside. More importantly, the smartphone won’t feature a dual-camera setup, as we’ve previously learned from various sources.

The P9 Lite will pack a main rear-facing camera, as well as a secondary camera in the front, but additional details are a mystery at the moment.

We also know that Huawei P9 Lite features a fingerprint sensor on the battery cover. It’s unclear whether or not the battery will be removable, but rumor has it that the smartphone will feature a plastic design.

The other three P9 models are likely to feature metal cases, which will give them a more premium look. That’s about all we know so far about Huawei P9 Lite, but stick around for more info that we believe will emerge online in the next few weeks.
