Huawei's new flagship smartphones, the P10 and P10 Plus, aren't a surprise if you've been following the tech news in the last couple of weeks.
Lots of details about the phones leaked online long before Huawei introduced the handsets at MWC 2017, so we could say that much of the surprise was spoiled by insiders.
However, for those of you who can't decide whether to go for the regular model or the beefed-up version, we've put the flagships' specs against each other so you can decide which one is more suitable to your needs.
Before going into details, it's worth mentioning that the P10 and P10 Plus are aimed at completely different targets, and it's not just the price of the phones that will split the audience. Although they share a few specs, Huawei P10 and P10 Plus are different enough to classify them as different flagships.
For example, aside from the fact that the P10 Plus sports a larger display than the P10, it also comes with a curved-edge panel as opposed to its smaller brother that features a flat screen.
Even though they have the same chipset inside, Huawei's Kirin 960, the P10 Plus comes with 128GB internal memory and 6GB RAM. Also, since it packs a larger display with higher resolution, the P10 Plus model is powered by a bigger battery.
Despite rumors that claimed the P10 Plus would come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, both phones feature front-mounted fingerprint readers, which are placed under the Home button.
The two flagships share the same dual-camera setup on the back, as well as the front camera, so there are no differences here. The same goes for connectivity options and software, as both phones run the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with Emotion UI 5.1.
Obviously, depending on market and model, some of the specs announced by Huawei might be different. Check out below the full list of specs announced for the P10 and P10 Plus.
