After numerous leaks concerning LG's upcoming Nexus 5X smartphone, new details about the other Nexus smartphone that will be launched by Google later this month have just emerged online.

Manufactured by Huawei, the Nexus 6 or whatever its name will be, has been recently spotted at Geekbench. Beside the phone's benchmark results, we're also given the chance to take a look at its insides.

Many will be disappointed that Google seems to have decided to go with Qualcomm's 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor. The chipset is neither the most stable nor the most powerful on the market, but Huawei Nexus 6 won't be launched as a flagship smartphone anyway.

Unlike the LG Nexus 5X, which is said to pack a 5.2-inch FHD display, Huawei Nexus 6 sports a much larger 6-inch capacitive touchscreen display, though the resolution supported is unknown for the moment.

It offers about the same level of performance as Nexus 5X

The listing at Geekbench also reveals that the smartphone will be equipped with an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

Another piece of information that we got from the benchmark's database is the fact that Huawei Nexus 6, just like the LG Nexus 5X, will ship with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box.

Google is expected to officially unveil both Nexus smartphones on September 29. On the same date, Android 6.0 Marshmallow might be released too, but only select Nexus devices will be able to download it.

According to the latest rumors, LG Nexus 5X should be available for purchase via Google Play Store for around $400 (€353). This means that the Huawei-made Nexus 6 should be priced slightly higher considering that it comes with better specs.

Since we're getting close to Google's launch event scheduled for September 29, we expect more details on both Nexus smartphones to continue to surface, so stay tuned for more on this one.
