Although it's not the final build, Huawei Honor 7 owners in India will now be able to install a beta version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on their smartphones.

Huawei India has just announced that Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta is available for Honor 7 smartphones in this country, but those who want to take advantage of the new features included in the update will have to register for the beta program.

The Chinese company asks Honor 7 owners to use its Google Drive forum to provide their current software version and IMEI. After Huawei verifies the information, it will push the OTA update for users after one or two days of submission.

If you already own a Huawei Honor 7, then you probably know the update should bring EMUI 4.0, along with some new features implemented by the Chinese company.

Even though it's unclear when the final version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be pushed to Honor 7 devices, we do know some of the most important features that are included in the beta build.

Huawei implemented lots of new features in this beta build

First of all, Huawei added some Camera improvements, such a new professional mode and a document readjustment function that can precisely capture the text content appearing in the lens when enabled.
