Huawei Honor 4A leaked for the first time last week, but apart from the fact that it's an affordable Android smartphone, no other details were available at that time.

Fast forward several days and we now have the first information on the handset's specs, GizmoChina reports.

Those interested in Huawei Honor 4A should know that all the details about its hardware configuration come directly from TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission.

This means that they are most likely to be the specs included in the final version of the smartphone. Also, Huawei is expected to announce the Honor 4A on July 21, but since then we don't have any information on pricing options.

We also know that Huawei Honor 4A will be initially launched in China and probably a few other Asian countries, but the Chinese handset maker may decide to bring it to other regions soon.

But let's see what the Honor 4A has to offer in terms of specs. Firth of all, Huawei Honor 4A ships with Android Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

4G LTE and dual-SIM support

Also, it comes with dual-SIM support, but there's mention of 4G LTE in the TENAA listing, too. Furthermore, the smartphone has been confirmed to sport a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Huawei Honor 4A is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and 2GB of RAM. On the inside, the smartphone packs 16GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB).

The phone measures 143.5 x 72.1 x 8.5 mm and is said to be powered by a 2,200 mAh battery. That's about everything we know about Huawei Honor 4A, but since we're less than a day from the official unveiling of the smartphone, those interested should stay tuned for the official specs later today.
