It's only been a few days since HTC launched a revised version of the One M9+ and the first the benchmark scores of the smartphone have already been leaked online.

The so-called HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition is not yet available on the market, so the benchmarks might have been conducted on prototype units.

Anyway, it appears that HTC's powerful toy scored pretty decent in AnTuTu, but it's not something impressive.

For example, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 scored almost 70,000 points, while the One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition only managed to reach 51,336 points, a new report confirms.

The next HTC smartphone that the company will launch on October 20 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow onboard has been benchmarked as well and scored around 40,000 points, which makes the One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition superior in terms of power.

That's quite understandable since the One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition is a high-end smartphone, while the One A9 is in the mid-tier category.

At least it comes with a very good camera

Speaking of which, in order to understand why the One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition scored average on AnTuTu, let's see what's under the hood.

First of all, the smartphone is equipped with a 64-bit 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTel MT6795 processor, a PowerVR G6200 Rogue graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

Other highlights of the One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition include a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, 32GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Also, the high-end smartphone packs a 21-megapixel camera with phase-detection autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization), LED flash and 4K video recording, as well as a secondary 4-UltraPixel in the front.

In case this HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition interests you, then you should know that it will start selling on October 15 for around $630 outright.
