The One A9, also known as Hima Aero, is the next Android smartphone to be launched by Taiwanese handset maker HTC.

The company has already announced a launch event for September 29, the same day when Google plans to launch its Nexus flagship smartphones and the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

However, despite its HTC One A9 name, this won't be a high-end device. According to the latest hearsay, the One A9 will be an intermediate device, even though it won't be launched under the Desire family.

Unfortunately, the One A9 has been recently spotted at a European retailer, where it's been priced at no less than $800 (€713) outright.

This is obviously a very high price for a mid-range Android smartphone, but since it's just a placeholder, we expect it to be available for much less.

Anyway, HTC fans who are still into the company's Android smartphones will be pleased to know that French blog Nowhereelse.fr has just published a few live images of the alleged One A9.

Hopefully, it will come preloaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The white version of the smartphone is shown in these blurry images, and we notice the One A9 will come with a physical Home button and a front-facing camera.

Aside from that, we can't tell anything else from these pictures, so we're left with the previous information that points to the fact that HTC One A9 is a mid-range device.

The smartphone is said to sport a 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

Also, the One A9 is likely to be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

On the back, the mid-range device is rumored to feature a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, and video recording, while on the front, there should be a 4-UltraPixel camera for video calls and selfies.

Last but not least, HTC One A9 will be powered by a 2,150mAh battery and will feature microSD card slot for memory expansion.
