HTC is busy working on multiple upcoming smartphones, including the highly anticipated Pixel and Pixel XL, made together with Google. As for HTC, it has already announced a handset during IFA 2016, the rather modest One A9s. Now, the company seems to be putting effort into yet another device, the Desire 10 Pro.

HTC has posted a video promoting the Desire 10 Pro, and although the footage partially shows the phone’s design, it doesn’t reveal any other details. It only mentions the unveiling date, namely September 20. The date falls right after the announcement of two highly anticipated flagships, LG V20 and the iPhone 7.

These two devices will surely capture the market's attention, but HTC hopes that the high-end specs on the HTC Desire 10 Pro will keep fans true to the series.

The video does seem to tease the camera on the upcoming smartphone, but another clip has been posted by HTC, and it mentions the 150 number but doesn’t say what it stands for.

Nevertheless, rumors regarding the HTC Desire 10 Pro show that the smartphone could pack a Snapdragon 820 processor, the same found in many flagships released this year. The handset could also sport a 5.1-inch Quad HD display with a fingerprint scanner on the back.

HTC could release the Desire 10 Lifestyle on the same date

RAM capacity is said to reach 4GB, and the phone could come with 32GB of internal storage. In addition, rear camera capacity could reach 12MP while the Desire 10 Pro could have a 5MP camera on the front.

HTC is also said to release the Desire 10 Lifestyle in the future, and chances are that the two smartphones will debut at the same time, on September 20. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle is expected to come with a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and run Snapdragon 400 SoC. It could also have 32GB of internal memory and a 12MP camera on the back.
