We reported earlier today about Lenovo's Android Marshmallow update roadmap, and now it looks like the next leak is aimed the HTC devices.

Although HTC has already confirmed that the unlocked One M9 and One A9 will receive Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow updates this month, there are many other devices that we have no knowledge about.

Luckily, HTC leakster LlabTooFeR has put together a list of smartphones that are expected to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates in the coming months.

As mentioned earlier, HTC One M9 and One A9 will be the first to receive the major update this year. On the negative side, HTC will not be upgrading the One M7 to Android Marshmallow, but security patches might continue to arrive.

The following high-end smartphone will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates in Q1 2016: HTC One M9+, HTC One M9 ME, HTC One M9 Supreme, HTC One M8, and HTC One M8s.

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow will also be delivered to HTC Butterfly 3, HTC Butterfly 2, HTC Desire 826, HTC Desire 820, and HTC Desire 626 in Q2 2016. Also, HTC Desire 816 and HTC Desire 526 will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates in Q2 2016.

HTC is still evaluating Android Marshmallow for Desire EYE. It's also worth mentioning that the dual-SIM models of these devices will receive the update as well.

No entry-level HTC smartphone will receive further major updates

However, those who own dual-SIM HTC smartphones should expect their Android Marshmallow upgrades to arrive with a 1- to 3-month delay.

Last but not least, entry-level smartphones like HTC Desire 526G, Desire 310, and some other models that are still stuck on KitKat won't be getting any other major updates like Lollipop and Marshmallow.

The bottom line is almost all mid-range and high-end HTC smartphones will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrades in Q1-Q2 2016.
