The Remothered horror trilogy is getting its second part next year, publisher Modus Games announced earlier today. Dubbed Remothered: Broken Porcelain, the game will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in summer 2020.

The second installment in the critically acclaimed cult saga written and designed by Darril Arts promises endless chills and takes players on an all-new psychological thrill ride. Remothered: Broken Porcelain brings a host of welcome changes to the series, including new gameplay and storytelling elements, which, hopefully, will breathe new life into the characters.

If you've played the previous title, Remothered: Tormented Fathers, you'll be happy to know that Broken Porcelain’s cast returns fan favorites from the original game and takes it on a whole new level by adding all-new personalities inspired by iconic protagonists within the horror genre.

Thanks to the evolved gameplay, hugely expanded lore for the Remothered universe, as well as enhanced storytelling through the series debut of real-time cinematics, Remothered: Broken Porcelain’s bleak world promises to offer a captivating experience to veterans and newcomers t to the series alike.

Developed by Stormind Games, Broken Porcelain challenges horror fans will with mind-blowing puzzles as they make themselves at home. However, make no mistake, the Ashmann Inn’s ancient halls are teeming with more than just mystery. Expect to face terrifying hunters roaming the building, so be ready to make life and death choices like trying to slip by undetected or facing fear head-on.

These decisions will be a critical skill for guests keen on surviving their stay, but failing doesn't necessarily mean death. One thing is certain though, the truths buried in the Ashmann Inn will not be discovered easily, as they are heavily guarded by the looming threat of the stalkers, powerful hunters trapped in time and the confines of its walls.

The best way to survive in Remothered: Broken Porcelain is to take a resourceful approach rather than relying on quick reactions. It's better to be smart and know when to sneak, flee or fight imminent dangers rather than just have quick reflexes. You can get a taste of what's to come by watching the announcement trailer above.
