The smartwatch and activity tracking device market keeps growing and growing, and every company hopes it would eventually be able to gain the lion’s share in this business.

And while Apple still dominates the industry with the Apple Watch, companies like Honor try to offer something different, all at a super-low price.

This is the approach the new Honor Band 6 is using. Announced at CES this year, the smart band is ready to go on sale later this month, with a €49.90 price tag – for our American readers, this means the device would cost less than $60.

And at the first glance, the Honor Band 6 has a lot to offer at this price point.

The tech specs

First and foremost, the device comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display that looks pretty well, at least according to the photos that have been shared by Honor after the CES unveiling. Multiple faces will also be offered, each customized to show important information such as the current weather, the number of steps, the current heart rate, and the burned calories.

The device will thus be able to monitor your heart activity, but also track the level of stress and provide SpO2 readings. Sleep tracking will also be offered if you want to wear the device to bed.

In addition to the tracking capabilities, the Honor Band 6 also doubles as a smartwatch, so it can display notifications from your smartphone.

The battery life is pretty impressive, as it should be able to last for 14 days for the majority of users. In case you’re a heavy user who relies on its full arsenal of sensors, then Honor guarantees more than a week of battery life per charge, and without a doubt, this is more than enough for most of us.
