The first Elusive Target is delayed to April

The development team at IO Interactive and publisher Square Enix are inviting all fans of the recently launched Hitman to vote on whether they would like to kill actor Gary Busey or Gary Cole, with the winner set to be added in a future mission in the video game.

Both feature in the attached video, offering semi-serious reasons they should be the chosen target, and gamers can deliver a vote via their Twitter account by tagging their message with either #KillBusey and #KillCole.

IO Interactive is not yet saying whether it plans to introduce either Gary Cole or Gary Busey in one of the coming major episodes for the video game or if they will be featured in one of the Elusive Target missions that are set to arrive for Hitman relatively soon.

The developers are also saying that they are delaying the big first mission delivery until early April, although no reason is offered, and will introduce a new Vampire Magician Challenge Pack to give players something new to do in the title.

IO Interactive adds, "This pack features ten new challenges inspired by community activity, all requiring you to wear the Vampire Magician disguise while taking down targets using a range of different methods. This pack will drop for all three platforms with a game update, which will also fix a variety of things in the game."

More escalation contracts are planned to keep gamers busy until they get access to the new full mission, and right now, players can play through the Osterman Mosaic and the Gemini Fiasco.

Hitman will introduce five new major locations before the end of the year

In April, gamers will be able to travel to Sapienza in Italy to explore an entirely big location that will be very different from the Paris that's offered in The Showstopper.

In May, the plan is to move the action to Marrakech in Morroco, and it seems that the environment will be more open and will allow Agent 47 to explore more before he chooses how to eliminate his target.

Before the end of the year, Hitman is also planning to take gamers to Thailand, Japan, and the United States, and IO Interactive claims that it is also exploring story elements for a second season.

The fan base has been satisfied with the mechanics of the new title and is saying that the developers should try to implement some of the offered feedback in the coming episodes.
