The rest of HERE applications are still MIA

Since HERE was sold to a German cars consortium, many of the company's applications for Windows Phone devices have disappeared from Windows Store.

Although developers stated that they pulled all HERE apps due to some bugs that need to be fixed, it's been more than a few weeks that these applications are missing from the Windows Store.

Today, it looks like those issues that developers were talking about a few weeks ago have been solved, but only for one of the three apps that HERE had listed on Windows Store.

It looks like HERE Transit is now back in Windows Store, and if you own a Windows Phone, you can now download it once again.

Obviously, there's a catch, as HERE Transit is only available for Windows Phone 8.1 devices, so those who purchased the Lumia 950/950 XL or the Lumia 550 won't be able to download it just yet.

The same goes for those who installed any Windows 10 Mobile preview builds on their Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones.

Still, this is a first step in the right direction, so let's hope HERE will fix any of the bugs that are preventing the release of the rest of the apps on Windows Store.

HERE Maps and Drive+ aren't available yet

Speaking of which, HERE Maps and Drive+ are still missing from Windows Store, so if you own the Lumia 950/950 XL or the Lumia 550, you still can use these location apps.

Previous Lumia devices powered by Windows Phone came with HERE apps pre-installed, but the latest Windows 10 Mobile handsets don't have HERE Maps and Drive+ preloaded.

While we don't know the real reason these apps are still missing from Windows Store, it does look like HERE prefers to focus on other platforms now that they aren't part of Nokia anymore.

You can now download HERE Transit for Windows Phone for free via Windows Store. The application is fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8.1.
