It's handy, helpful and tastefully retro

There are plenty of rigs for the iPhone out there for sale at the moment, but few actually come with a retro flavor and a viewfinder to provide accurate image viewing in bright light.

The Lumenati CS1, which is a clear reference to the Illuminati, is basically turning your iPhone 6 into an 8mm camera so you can film stuff with your phone like you would with, you guessed it, an 8mm camera.

It's a pretty interesting accessory designed to help users handle video shooting with something more ergonomic than a slippery smartphone which would have to be held in awkward positions so that they can properly film stuff.

Although it is not exactly clear how the smartphone camera connects with both the lenses and the viewfinder of the Lumenati CS1, since it's inserted lying down on one side just like a cassette or a film cartridge, it's obvious that all the footage is stored inside your iPhone, and the rig just helps it get much better images. All you have to do is put the phone in and pull the red trigger to begin recording.

Lots of nice features that can improve your iPhone filming experience

There are a lot of practical features coming with the Lumenati device that help people film better and more comfortably than with just their phones. You get a nice handle, interchangeable 58mm lenses with wide angle, fisheye and telephoto, and extra handles for moving shots.

Besides all that, the Lumenati comes with an app that allows manual control of exposure, frames per second, and all sorts of filters. Additionally, users would be able to capture and edit what they film directly on their phones and share everything online.

Right now, there’s a crowdfunding campaign for the Lumenati CS1 on Kickstarter, and you could get one yourself for at least $150 (‎€133) and you'll have it delivered to you in February 2016 if you are willing to contribute.
