The development team at 343 Industries might not be willing to deliver any details about the Memories of Reach downloadable content that it is working on, but the studio is ready to talk a little more about the coming Infection mode and about the way it plans to offer even more options for controller setting in the coming weeks.

The company says that hundreds of thousands of matches of Warzone Firefight were played during the beta and that 147 million enemies were taken down by those taking part and the feedback obtained from the community is being used to improve the experience ahead of the summer launch.

David Ellis, the multiplayer designer, is quoted on the official site as saying that, "Watching you answer the call to fight alongside your fellow Spartans against the myriad of enemies arrayed against you while completing your objectives has meant so much to everyone who has contributed to Warzone Firefight."

343 Industries is also tweaking the Super Fiesta social playlist for Halo 5: Guardians to give gamers access to REQs, although the rarest of them will be even rarer here in order to make sure that the experience is balanced, with access open to fans all through the week.

Infection is coming soon to the shooter

The developers are offering three new images taken from the Infection mode, but are not yet willing to say when they are planning to launch it or to reveal all the gameplay mechanics associated with it.

Gamers will be able to engage with the experience on some fan made maps for the shooter, including Malignant, Nerve Center and RIP Tide, which are currently playtested.

343 Industries is also working to add even more controller options to Halo 5: Guardians with David Pashute, the senior sandbox engineer, explaining that the changes will come when Memories of Reach is out and will allow players to adjust horizontal and vertical look sensitivities independently.

Half step values are also introduced to give players, even more, control.

343 Industries is also saying that it has improved the team Arena experience in Halo 5: Guardians, dealing with map layout, weapons and more and the plan is to continue to work with top players to improve them even more ahead of the summer season of the HCS Pro League.

The process is set to end in late May when gamers will be able to get access to the exact same content that will power the competitive side of the shooter.
