Gamers will also get extra rewards and some price cuts

Video game developer Rockstar is announcing that it is aiming to launch a range of new content for the Online mode in Grand Theft Auto V, with the studio offering gamers a new Inch by Inch mode to test their skills and access to the Vapid Minivan vehicle.

On April 12, players will be able to engage in a new Adversary Mode that challenges teams to get access to a Package and then try to fight their way to the end zone controlled by their enemies in order to score.

Rockstar explains on official site that, “After each score, the action immediately resets - ensuring a frenetic and desperate battle of wits and skill. The player carrying the package cannot use their weapons, so tenacity and teamwork are required to advance towards the goal line. A burst of speed will help them make some ground, but only a constant barrage of support from their back-up will ensure their hard earned point.”

Inch by Inch is one of the new GTA Online mode revealed by data mining and seems designed for those players who really want to work together in order to secure an objective and defeat their adversaries.

To celebrate the launch of Inch by Inch for the game, players will also get access to double RP and money associated with the Adversary Playlist that the developers are introducing, and there are also price cuts associated with the weapons offered via the Ammu-Nation, including sniper rifles, shotguns and armor.

GTA Online is also getting the Vapid Minivan on April 12

The Declasse Tornado is the most recent vehicle offered via Benny's and gamers will be able to pick up the Vapid Minivan starting on Tuesday, April 12, expanding the range of options that gamers have when they look for transportation.

According to data mining, gamers will get another Adversary Mode before the end of the month and Rockstar will continue to run weekly events to keep fans engaged while delivering new patches to keep the game as balanced as possible.

Rumors are also talking about a new single-player downloadable content pack for the single-player element of GTA V, which could add a new playable characters and more locations to visit.

The studio has not yet revealed any plans for the future, but sources are saying that a new entry in the Red Dead series, which will be announced at E3 2016 using the Legends of the West name.
