Rockstar released GTA: Liberty City Stories about back in December but promised an Android version would be launched soon. Today, the Android version of the beloved PSP game made an appearance on Google Play Store.

Although the iOS version costs $6.99, Android users will be able to purchase the game for a lot less, but only for a limited time, since GTA: Liberty City Stories is 40% off now.

The Android version of the PSP cult game comes with several significant improvements, but not just in regards with the graphics.

The game has been specially tailored for mobile gaming, so the missions should be much shorter but intense. Also, Rockstar states that GTA: Liberty City Stories features new high-resolution textures and character art, as well as real-time lighting and shadows.

The draw distance has been enhanced as well to match the raw power inside modern smartphones. The open-world adventure game has been remastered with extensive graphics enhancement, but the touch controls have been improved too.

Cross-platform cloud saves and controller support

According to developers, controls for touch-based gaming have been rebalanced. Also, cross-platform cloud saves should be available via the Rockstar Social Club, but that requires a valid account, so make sure you create one.

GTA: Liberty City Stories comes with physical controller support, which will allow you to play it on Android TV in a comfy manner.

Are you ready to take on the streets of Liberty City once again and bring it under control for the Leone family? You'll have to fight various family factions that vie for control too, so be ready for a tough war.

You can now download GTA: Liberty City Stories for Android for $3.99 via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
