Microsoft has just announced that a new update for Groove Music for Windows 10 Mobile should hit smartphones on November 18. This means that the new version of the application should already be present in Windows Store.

According to the official changelog, the latest update brings a few new features and some improvements that should provide a smoother user experience.

Groove Music users will be pleased to know that the update adds the option to share a link to music by tapping Share in the context menu. This new feature can be used to tell friends what music you have been listening to.

Another new feature included in this update is the fact that the application will only automatically show more albums for artists a user explores if they are not on a metered data connection or reduce data usage.

New settings in the desktop version have been added to the mobile app

Also, Microsoft has confirmed the theme setting in Groove Music is now tied to the related system settings. Furthermore, popular settings from the desktop version of the music application have been implemented in the mobile app.

So, you can now look for new settings related to Downloads, Media Info, and OneDrive in the mobile version of Groove Music as well.

Last but not least, developers claim that improvements in the way the application searches for music on the mobile device are included, too.

These are all the new changes added in the update, but the Groove Team asks users to “continue making your feedback known in the Windows Feedback app, in-store reviews, and elsewhere on the Internet. We’re listening!”

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Groove Music for Windows 10 Mobile for free via Windows Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows 10 Mobile.
