14 DAY TRIAL // If you happen to have heard about game studio Zuhanden, then you probably already know that Gravity Jack is their first mobile title. Gravity Jack is a peculiar and addictive jump & run game, which is only available on iOS devices.
According to the developers, “Gravity Jack is a lovely hand drawn Jump & Run game for iPhone and iPad. The player joins Gravity Jack in the exploration of the universe. The aim is to avoid various obstacles on the ground and in the air and at the same time collect points-making stars.”
In theory, this sounds pretty simple, but Gravity Jack is an easy-to-play but hard-to-master game. As you progress into the game and start visiting other planets, you will notice that levels become more challenging.
It will be much harder to gather all the stars and have the highest score while avoiding obstacles at the same time. Your goal is to collect items and explore as many new worlds as possible.
A “round-scroller” that promises to become an addiction
Gravity Jack plays like a round-scroller and the further the player travels through the planetary system, the more points he/she will receive for the highscore, which can then be shared instantly to Facebook for your friends to see.
The game has been launched with no less than 30 planets and, as mentioned earlier, it features Facebook integration for highscore. A leaderboard has been implemented as well.
Bottom line is that Gravity Jack developers promise challenging levels with demanding obstacles, as well as easy controls thanks to the simple tap functions system (swipe up, swipe down).
The game does not seem to feature in-app purchase, so you don't have to worry if you become addicted.
