Rockstar has just confirmed Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online are coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 11. As a bonus, the next couple of updates to GTA Online will include special benefits for players to take advantage of in the expanded and enhanced versions of the game when they are launched later this year.

It's important to mention that while the standalone version of GTA Online will be available to players on both platforms, the new standalone version of GTA Online will be available for free exclusively to PlayStation 5 players during the first three months.

On top of that, PlayStation Plus members on PlayStation 4 will be allowed to claim GTA$1,000,000 via the PlayStation Store at the start of each month – every month until the launch of GTA Online on PlayStation 5.

Before GTA V hits PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, Rockstar revealed that new updates to GTA Online and Red Dead Online will be available throughout May and the summer months. These updates are meant to bring a range of new items, quality of life updates, and much more.

The first update to hit GTA Online will add eight new Stunt Races on May 27. These new tracks will introduce an array of exciting thrills for stunt racers in an assortment of vehicle classes. Furthermore, fans of the Deadline mode will get seven new arenas in which to destroy opponents. In the same piece of news, Survival mode will also expand to new locations throughout Los Santos and Blaine County.

As far as Red Dead Online goes, Rockstar will release a new update next week that will add eight new Races spanning iconic locations across the five states. All these new races will be available to all Red Dead Online players on May 25.

More updates later this summer will bring a diverse array of new missions across the world for players looking to step into the criminal underworld. Additional details about these upcoming updates will be revealed in the coming weeks.
