Oppo announced the mid-range Mirror 5 back in July, but the smartphone was only available in China. However, beginning this week, customers in India will be able to purchase the handset as well.

According to a new report, Oppo Mirror 5 is now available in India for Rs 15,990 outright, which is about $245 or €220.

For that amount, customers will get a stylish smartphone with mid-range specs, which features a bi-metal case that's been especially designed to protect the Mirror 5 from accidental drops or scratches.

Oppo Mirror 5 ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, along with ColorOS 2.1 on top.

When it comes to hardware, the Mirror 5 has been confirmed to pack a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 306 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

There are 16GB of storage inside, but users can further expand internal memory up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

It's been made using advanced UV embossing technique

On the back, Oppo Mirror 5 features an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and full HD (1080p) video recording, while on the front, there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Oppo's mid-range sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 2,420 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

In the connectivity front, Mirror 5 offers both dual-SIM and 4G LTE support, but also other options like Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with AGPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0.

Potential customers should know that Oppo Mirror 5 is offered in two color versions, namely White and Blue. There's no word on whether or not the mid-range smartphone will be rolled out globally.
