The Google mobile application has just been updated with a new design and a couple of new features and enhancements. The most obvious are the cards that you usually get when using Google app on smartphones.

According to Google, the new changes have been applied to the Android application, but they will come to iOS very soon as well. Anyway, starting today, the Google app on Android devices will feature cards organized into two sections.

One of the sections will show a feed that keeps users up to date on their interests including sports, news, and entertainment. The other section will be reserved for the user's upcoming personal info such as appointments and flights.

The feed section features an updated design and should display all the things that the user is interested in. Google also states that the more one uses its Android application, the more suitable and relevant the feed will become.

In order to update interests, as well as add more while on the move, simply tap the “Customize” tab in the Google app's settings menu.

Users in the United States will also be given a card in the feed that allows them to select a topic of interest they would like to see more info and stories on. This particular feature will be rolled out in other countries in the coming months.

The other cards section enables users to toggle over their upcoming dashboard for a dependable view of their personal info. This is where you can store information about daily schedule, travel time, package delivery, and more.

The updated version of the Google app is already available for download in the Play store, but as mentioned earlier, iOS users will have to wait a while longer for these new features and visual improvements to arrive on their devices.
