Google now allows G Suite users to rapidly enable Google sign-in prompt 2-Step Verification feature on all devices they're logged into the same G Suite account.

In a post on the company's G Suite Updates blog, Google announced that the Google sign-in prompt authentication method can now be enabled by G Suite users on all their phones.

The Google sign-in prompt replaces the 2-Step Verification code employee's previously received when authenticating in their G Suite accounts.

Now, rather than making use of a 2-Step Verification code to sign in to their G Suite account, users can tap on a prompt send by Google to their phone.

Toggling on the Google sign-in prompt option on all your phones is now a matter of clicking a button

The Google Sign-in prompt is advertised by Google as "easier and even more secure way of authenticating your account, and it respects mobile policies enforced on G Suite employee devices."

Previously, G Suite users had to enroll every phone if they wanted to receive Google authentication prompts, having to do this separately for every device when first signing into the G Suite account.

Starting today, Google enabled bulk sign-in prompt enabling for all devices belonging to the same user by toggling on the "Get Google prompt on all the phones you're signed in to" option right after entering their account's password.

You can check the 2-Step Verification page in My Account to find out how you can enable the Google sign-in prompt option on all of your phones.

"Instead of using a 2-Step Verification code to sign in, you can tap a prompt that Google sends to your phone. The prompt will ask if you're trying to sign in," says the Google sign-in prompt support page. "Signing in this way adds the security of 2-Step Verification and is quicker than entering a verification code."
