Google fans rejoice, as the company's Nexus 5X has just been caught in a video demo. This comes only hours before the official unveiling, which should happen right about now.

However, if you want to get a glimpse of what's to come, make sure to check out the video below. Also, don't forget to follow our Google launch event live blogging for real-time details on the new Nexus smartphones and Android 6.0 Marshmallow release.

Back on the hands-on video published by UNDERkg, it looks like the device caught on camera is the Mint color version of Nexus 5X.

Still, the smartphone should be available in Charcoal Black, Ice Blue and Quartz White, so there are plenty of colors to choose from.

Also, rumor has it that the cheaper version of Nexus 5X will cost $380 outright and it will only be available online via Google Play Store.

Get into the Google Nexus hype train

As mentioned in our previous article, Google Nexus 5X has been confirmed to come with only 2GB of RAM inside, which must be disappointing for some fans.

On a more positive note, this won't be the only Nexus smartphone to be released by Google this year. The Huawei-made Nexus 6P will cost $500 off contract, which is quite decent considering its specs.

This means that Android fans who want a mid-range smartphone with high-end specs can go for the Nexus 5X while those looking for a flagship device should definitely buy the Nexus 6P.

Design-wise, we already know the Nexus 5X measures 147 x 72.6 x 7.9mm and weighs 136g (battery included). The handset is quite the looker thanks to its curvy lines and thin body.

Unfortunately, there are some downsides such as lack of microSD card slot and the fact that it will only come in 16GB and 32GB variants.
