They are available for pre-order via Amazon and Flipkart

As expected, Google has just introduced its new Nexus smartphones in India. The Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are now available for pre-order in the country via Amazon and Flipkart, respectively.

Customers will now be able to pre-order the Nexus 5X in Carbon Black, Quartz White and Ice Blue, for no less than Rs 31,900 ($490 / €430) for the 16GB model. The 32GB variant is available as well, but customers will have to come up with Rs 35,900 ($550 / €485) outright.

Keep in mind that if you don't want to pre-order the Nexus 5X, then you will be able to purchase it exclusively at Amazon India beginning October 21.

Those who purchase the smartphone will also receive a free Plantronics M70 Bluetooth headset, Amazon.in gift card worth Rs 4,000 ($60 / €55) on an HDFC credit card EMI Transactions, free screen replacement, and Cashback worth Rs 1,500 ($23 / €20) on HDFC Credit & Debit cards.

On the other hand, the Nexus 6P is available for pre-order in Aluminum and Graphite colors for Rs 39,999 ($615 / €540) for the 32GB variant. The 64GB model is available as well, but you will have to come up with Rs 42,999 ($660 / €580) upfront.

If you don't want to pre-order the device, you will be able to purchase the Nexus 6P exclusively at Flipkart online store and offline retailers beginning October 21.

Customers who purchase the Nexus 6P will also receive a free Chromecast, Bluetooth Speaker, along with double data offer (Airtel consumers).

As many of you probably know by now, both Nexus smartphones will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box.

Aside from that, they come with pretty different specs in tow since they are aimed at different spec ranges. However, at these prices, it will be interesting to see how popular the Nexus smartphones will be among Android fans.
