Google revealed today that its Stadia cloud gaming service will launch tomorrow, November 19th, with a total of 22 titles instead of only the 12 games announced last week.

After a backlash from the gaming community, Google's Vice President and GM, Phil Harrison, took to Twitter to announced earlier that Google Stadia will launch with more games, bumping the list of titles from 12 to 22, which was only possible thanks to company's game developer and publisher partners.

The 12 games that were initially announced for the launch on November 19th are Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Destiny 2: The Collection, Gylt, Just Dance 2020, Kine, Mortal Kombat 11, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Red Dead Redemption 2, Samurai Shodown, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Thumper, and Tomb Raider 2013.

Now Google has bumped the list with 10 more games, including Attack on Titan: Final Battle 2, Farming Simulator 2019, Final Fantasy XV, Football Manager 2020, GRID 2019, Metro Exodus, NBA 2K20, Rage 2, Trials Rising, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood, with more games to be added after the official launch.

Supported platforms and availability

Google Stadia will launch with dedicated apps for Android and iOS devices, but on Android it's currently only compatible with Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL phones, while iPhone and iPad devices will require iOS 11 or later to be installed.

If you want to stream Google Stadia games to your smart TV, you will also need to buy the Chromecast Ultra device that comes with the Stadia Controller. This setup will require a TV with an HDMI port, as well as an HDR-capable TV for HDR content and a 4K Utra HD-capable TV for 4K content.

In addition to the official Stadia Controller, early adopters may also use PlayStation 4 DualShock and Xbox One controllers. Also, you'll also be able to play Stadia games across desktops and laptops via the Google Chrome web browser on macOS, Windows, and Linux platforms.

Last but not least, Google Stadia will only be available in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, UK, and the United States at launch, but only those who buy the $130 USD Founder's or Premiere edition. Stadia Base free version will launch sometime in 2020.
