GolfTopia is a rather unique golf game from MinMax Games, the same studio that made Space Pirates and Zombies 1 and 2. The game features gameplay elements from three different genres: management sim, tower defense, and pinball.

The game is meant to create a humorous management tycoon experience blended with hilarious physics-based golf mechanics. Since visiting golfers are quite picky, they will scrutinize everything they see with over 100 thoughts, complaints, or compliments, so your job is to make sure your golf course receives as few complaints as possible.

The developers promise that players won't have an easy time managing GolfTopia. The game goes so deep that you'll have to place every tee, every hole, and every devious sand trap in an attempt to build the perfect golf course.

Apart from having to attract visitors, players must keep them fed, hydrated, and pacified. If you manage to make them happy enough, they’ll turn into prestigious members, but if you don't, they'll go insane in a fiendish golf gauntlet.

In GolfTopia, picky golfers are the least of your problems, as players will have to defend their creations from a growing infestation of ill-tempered foliage with robotic workers and defensive turrets. You can use various gadgets like fans, bumpers, launchers, and teleporters on your course, turning it into a finely tuned money-making machine.

Moreover, adding hotels, putting greens, a driving range, bars, and restaurants will turn your course into a world-class attraction. You can even play your own courses, leveling up just like the other golfers do.

If you're anxious to play MinMax Games' new golf game, it looks like you won't have to wait too long. According to developers, GolfTopia is coming in Q1 2020 and it will be available on Steam for the Windows PC, but stay tuned for more info on the exact release date.
