We reported to you earlier today that Nokia might start launching new smartphones this year. The first Android smartphones coming from the Finnish company might hit shelves later this year, and the first live images showing an alleged Nokia prototype phone have just leaked online.

However, if you're not into smartphones and still prefer the old-school feature-phones, there's a high chance that you would choose a Nokia-branded handset.

One of the most recent feature-phones launched by Microsoft, the Nokia 230 Dual SIM is already available in many countries for around $60 outright.

Even though it looks quite nice, Nokia 230 Dual SIM does not stand out from other cheap handsets available on the market, but there's something you can do if you really want to impress with your cheap feature-phone.

Vietnamese company Karalux, specialized in gold-plated handsets, announced it now sells Nokia 220 Dual SIM phones plated with 24k gold.

Also, it's not that expensive considering other gold-plated smartphones available from Karalux sell for thousands of dollars.

The gold-plated Nokia 230 Dual SIM feature-phone costs only $125, but if you bring your own device to be gold-plated at Karalux, you will only have to pay $67 for the whole process.

Naturally, the gold-plated handset is available internationally, but you will have to pay for shipping if you to grab this unique Nokia 230 Dual SIM.

The specs

If you don't own the handset, here is what Microsoft's feature-phone has to offer regarding specs. It sports a small 2.8-inch display that supports 240 x 320 pixels resolution.

The handset comes with 16GB of internal memory and a 2-megapixel camera on the back. There's also a secondary 2-megapixel camera in the front for selfies.

Nokia 230 Dual SIM is powered by a 1,200 mAh battery and includes microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
