Chinese OEM Gionee launched a few Android smartphones with massive batteries inside in the last couple of weeks. Although they have been initially released in China, Gionee plans to introduce them in other countries in the coming months.

The same goes for the unannounced Gionee F105, which recently showed up at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission. This isn't a high-end smartphone, but would make a nice purchase for those looking for a cheap Android device.

Naturally, we have to wait and see how much the Gionee F105 will cost, but judging by the specs listed at TENAA, this one shouldn't be expensive at all.

Aside from the main specs that have been revealed by the documents filed at TENAA, we also have some pictures of the Gionee F105, so Android fans can also get a glimpse of what's to come from the Chinese company.

Design-wise, the F105 is not bad at all. It does seem to feature an aluminum build on the back and a glossy finish on the front.

A standard entry-level Android smartphone

The main camera has been placed on the left upper back side while the LED flash is almost in the middle. The positioning seems a bit weird, but not something that we didn't see before.

Gionee F015 sports a standard 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. The 8-megapixel camera on the back features autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording.

There's also a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls. Gionee F105 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTekprocessor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

The F105 supports both 4G LTE and dual-SIM support, but the phone comes with other connectivity options as well, including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS support.

Gionee's entry-level smartphone will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and Amigo UI on top of it.
