The rumored announcement for the new Galaxy S8 flagship is drawing near and Samsung wants to sell as many units of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge as it can before making the new premium phone available to all.

The Galaxy S8 is said to be announced on March 29, but it will be made available in stores sometime in mid-April. Until then, Samsung continues to rely on sales of its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in the high-end smartphone segment.

To sweeten the deal for customers, Samsung is now offering a 256GB EVO+ microSD card for each purchase of a Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge. The microSD card has a price tag of $249.99 and adds more memory to the storage capacity inside the two phones. Considering that the Galaxy S7 edge is offered with up to 128GB of internal memory, while the storage capacity inside the S7 is up to 64GB, this is quite a sweet deal from Samsung.

The offer ends on February 14

The offer is also available for the Galaxy S7 Active and it ends on February 14, right on time for Valentine’s Day. Customers can purchase the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge straight from Samsung.com or using the Shop Samsung app.

Samsung currently sells the Galaxy S7 for $669.99 unlocked for the Black Onyx model, if you were looking for the Gold Platinum variant, it’s no longer available unlocked and prices at carriers differ. Samsung sells the Galaxy S7 Silver Titanium for $769.99 on its website.

Even customers who buy the three smartphones from carriers or third-party retailers get the free microSD card, but will have to submit a claim until February 21. The card is automatically added to the cart at checkout when buying the phones directly from Samsung’s website.

Customers who wish to get the free 256GB microSD card should hurry, Samsung mentioned that a limited number of 75,000 microSD cards would be given out.
