Aaron Greenberg, the leading marketing executive in charge of the Xbox One, is saying that his mind was blown by the recent demo of Gears of War 4 that he saw and is teasing that an official announcement about the beta stage for the title might be detailed soon.

The information comes from his official Twitter account, which features a conversion with Rod Fergusson, the leading producer working on the title, and the pair has not offered any more details despite requests from fans of the title.

Gears of War 4 is in development at The Coalition and is set to arrive on the Xbox One during the fall launch season, with the team claiming that it will offer a new take on the familiar mechanics of the series.

The beta will be open to all those who have played the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on the Microsoft home console before March 1, but it's unclear what kind of content gamers will be able to experience.

Presumably, The Coalition will offer a limited look at the multiplayer mechanics of the new title and will encourage long-term fans to offer feedback to make sure that the game appeals to them when it is released.

Gears of War 4 will showcase the power of the Xbox One

Phil Spencer, the leader of the Xbox division, has also recently expressed his enthusiasm over the state of the game and explained that this is one of the titles that will drive gamers who do not have a new home console to pick up a Microsoft device.

The Gears of War brand was bought by the company in 2014 from Epic Games, and the new title was first shown during the E3 2015 press conference.

It seems that the new Gears of War will have strong cooperative mechanics, and a story that will not feature the big characters of the previous titles and more details will certainly be offered during this year's E3 2016 event in June.

Because the game is built from the ground up for the Xbox One, it can deliver improved graphics and gameplay, and it can certainly be the kind of video game that Microsoft can use to boost sales of its home console.

The Gears of War: Ultimate Edition can also be played on Windows 10, and it's unclear whether Gears of War 4 will also arrive on the PC as the plan to create a unified gaming ecosystem progresses.
