14 DAY TRIAL // The first-ever Borderlands game was launched on October 20, 2009, so in just a few weeks the franchise would have its 10th anniversary. Gearbox has decided to celebrate the achievement in style, so for the next five weeks, Borderlands 3 players will be able to score in-game loot and bonuses.
The five-week Borderlands Anniversary Celebration starts at the beginning of October and will be live for the entire month and a little bit of November. For the entire event, Borderlands 3 players will have their own theme in the game, encouraging different in-game activities that will allow them to maximize their rewards.
As of now, Boss Week is live, which will be active until October 8. During Boss Week, some bosses will have an increased chance to drop a unique Legendary item. Here are all the Legendary loot drops by boss: Mouthpiece / Gatling Gun, KillaVolt / Brainstormer, Gigamind / Nagata, Katagawa Ball / Rectifier, Katagawa / Legendary class mods (all Vault Hunters), Rampager / Kill-o'-the-Wisp, Warden / Echo, GenIVIV / Ten Gallon, Aurelia / Creeping Death, Graveward / Earworm, Pain and Terror / Legendary class mods (all Vault Hunters), Troy / Nova Berner, and Tyreen / Bitch.
This is a perfect time for Vault Hunters looking to expand their collections of unique Legendary loot to drop in on all these bosses and hope they'll eventually get the loot they are grinding for.
Gearbox has outed a calendar with the in-game activities happening during the event but mentions that it's saving some surprises for later. None of the activities are detailed, but at least we know what to expect (see the picture above).
We do know for sure that Gearbox will unveil the full bonuses for each week's theme every Monday this month, so keep check back as we'll update the information with new details revealed by developers.
