Well-known mobile games developer and publisher Gameloft has just announced a new update for its smash hit Asphalt 8: Airborne.

According to Gameloft, Asphalt 8: Airborne players are in for a nice surprise since gifts are coming early this year. Santa brings a sack full of new features for fans of the car racing game, including an exclusive new car, the Lamborghini Egoista.

New racing location, game mode, winter-themed tracks and new cars are included in the update as well. First of all, there are three new winter-themed tracks where players will feel the cold rush while racing.

The new location included in the update is called Area 51 and, as the name suggests, it's the most top-secret racing facility.

When it comes to R&D series, players can now stack up amazing and exclusive rewards, while test-driving new speed machines to the max, if they want to own them.

There are no less than 15 new cars introduced in the game, but they won't be available all at once, so look for them in the coming days or weeks.

As mentioned earlier, the update also adds a new game mode, which will allow players to race with 3 different cars in a single race.

If you don't have the game yet, you can now download Asphalt 8: Airborne for Android for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3 and up.

For iOS users, the game can be downloaded for free via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 6.1.6 or newer.

Keep in mind that while the game is free to download, it comes with in-app purchases. If you don't want to spend real money, then you can disable this feature from your device's Settings.
