French publisher and mobile games developer Gameloft has just announced it will launch a new shooter game for smartphones and tablets very soon.

The new game is called Sniper Fury, and according to Gameloft, it's been developed by the same team that brought us Modern Combat 5: Blackout, Brothers in Arms 3 and Blitz Brigade.

Although the publisher does not mention exactly when the game will be available for download, it confirms Sniper Fury will be launched on Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms.

Players eager to play Gameloft's new game can pre-register on its dedicated website in order to unlock extra content when Sniper Fury launches on Google Play Store, App Store or Windows Store.

Devs promise an immersive experience and top notch quality

We don't know whether or not the game will be available for free, but since the other games mentioned earlier don't cost anything to play, there's a high chance that you will be able to download and play Sniper Fury for free.

Obviously, the game will come with in-app purchases, but those who don't want to pay real money can disable this feature from the Settings menu.

Here is what Gameloft has to say about its upcoming game: “Using the latest rendering based technology seen in Modern Combat 5: Blackout, Sniper Fury will have amazing visual effects that will make it the best looking shooter on the store.

“In accessible gameplay focused on shooting, players will deploy in sniper vantage points with clear missions: eliminate threats, protect allies, survive, and more. Take an impossible shot and see it again with intense kill cams. In Sniper Fury, you are only as good as your aim!”

More details on the Sniper Fury's story are revealed in the cinematic trailer of the game that has been recently released by Gameloft.
