14 DAY TRIAL // The second major update for Gameloft's Order & Chaos: Redemption 2 game is now live on both Android and iOS platforms. The Windows Phone version will receive the update in the next couple of days as well.
The update contains tons of new gameplay features, along with many improvements. Some of these new features change the way the game can be played, which is why many players have been anxiously waiting for this update.
First of all, the companion system has been changed. Players can collect and summon their companion to follow and help them in their adventures, but they will also be able to get special buffs that boost their hero's attributes.
Also, Gameloft announced that players would now be able to upgrade and evolve their companions to make them bigger and stronger.
The newly added Haradon Cards will add a new dimension to players' strategy. More than 180 different cards are now available to collect, so players can build their own decks that can unlock special Combo Skills.
Most of these Haradon Cards can be upgraded, as with each increase in rank players will unlock new skills.
The guilds section of the game has been improved as well. Gameloft introduced guild missions where players can take on co-op, bounty, and weekly missions to reap rewards for their guilds.
Also, players can now research and activate special skills within the guild to boost their abilities. Guild ranks have been implemented as well, along with leaderboards for guilds.
New lottery for Haradon Card and companions added
The update also brings Spring Festival challenges such as a fun dungeon called Challenge the King of Dumplings. A new world event is available for players; the Nian has come out of hiding. New special items and vanities are available as well.
Gameloft also added new classic dungeons like Battle of Greystone Fortress. Last but not least, new features like ReplayKit, lottery for Haradon Cards and companions, as well as MiFi controller support have also been added.
If you don't have the game yet, you can now download Order & Chaos 2: Redemption for Android for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
For iOS users, the game can be downloaded for free via App Store. The game should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 7.0 or later.
