Good news for mobile gamers, as well-known publisher and developer Gameloft has just launched a new strategy game called March of Empires.

The game has been released at the same time on all three major mobile platforms - Android, iOS and Windows Phone - and is available for free.

As Highland King, Northern Czar or Desert Sultan, players will be able to join Gameloft's new strategy game where they will wage constant war for other players' territories.

In March of Empires, players can build massive armies, fortify their castles before entering the ultimate fight for domination.

Among the most important gameplay features of March of Empires, Gameloft mentions the option to dispatch armies, construct buildings, but also the possibility of making strategic decisions that should give players the upper hand against enemies.

On top of that, players can also establish Trade Centers, sacred Temples, as well as secure Stockpiles for them and their allies. The alliance management system included in the game should make it easier to organize with allies before attacking.

Choose from three interesting factions

As mentioned earlier, March of Empires allows players to choose one of the three factions: Highland Kings: Knights of honor and piety; Northern Czars: Cunning on and off the battlefield; and Desert Sultans: Passionate defenders of knowledge.

You can now download March of Empires for Android for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.

For iOS users, the game can be downloaded for free via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices powered by iOS 7.0 or later.

Last but not least, March of Empires for Windows Phone is available for free via Windows Phone Store. It should be compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8.1 and up.

Keep in mind that, while the game is free to download, it comes with in-app purchases, so if you don't want to spend real money, you can disable this feature.
